OEM is an acronym for â€œOriginal Equipment Manufacturerâ€. Normally OEM software comes with brand new computers only. DSP (Delivery Service Partner) software is more generic than OEM. It is provided for system integrators for building the so-called â€œcloneâ€ or no-name computers.

However, because of the substantial support savings to the manufacturer the DSP and OEM versions are offered for sale at a significantly lower price.
